A major website for the Central Highlands has been redesigned to be more user-friendly for anyone doing business in the region.
“We’re here to make it easier to do business in the Central Highlands so an integral part of that is to ensure operators can find exactly what they’re looking for at the click of a button,” CHDC General Manager Sandra Hobbs says.
“This new-look website also sends a message to potential investors around the world that the Central Highlands is open for business and puts us on an even playing field with the larger regional centres in Queensland.”
Features of the Central Highlands Development Corporation site chdc.com.au include a contemporary design, an easy-to-navigate home page, social media links and mobile compatibility.
The idea is to improve the experience of any business that’s wanting to access the wealth of information, resources and tools offered by CHDC.
A key component of the website is the Central Highlands Business Directory, which features a search tool to find thousands of locally-based businesses, their contact details and capabilities.
Other highlights include quick links to tender opportunities and the Central Highlands Development Register; statistical information about the region; and the latest news and details on upcoming CHDC events.
“We hope the redesign will encourage even more operators to get online, take a moment to explore the site and discover the wealth of useful information at their fingertips,” Ms Hobbs says.
The website complements CHDC’s other recently re-vamped website centralhighlands.com.au, which is pitched as a one-stop-shop for residents and visitors to access information on things to see and do as well as business and community information.
CHDC is a non-profit, lead economic and tourism development agency for the Central Highlands.
