Guidelines:
This event calendar is managed by the Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC).
For events to be listed on the calendar, the following guidelines apply:
- The event must be open to the general public and appeal to visitors to this region
- The event must be held within the Central Highlands Local Government Area (LGA)
- Commercial businesses are welcome to submit events, however it is not a platform to advertise products or services offered by their business
- Event organisers are responsible for uploading information regarding their event
- Event organisers must include an accurate description of the event and a good quality image
- Information submitted must be up to date and accurate. It is the responsibility of the event organiser to notify CHDC if information changes.
- It is the responsibility of the event organiser to ensure appropriate approvals are in place prior to listing their event (ie permission to use the venue, permits, approvals etc )
- The event organiser must not include wording or images that may be offensive, inappropriate or in violation of copyright laws. Images should be appropriate for the event being submitted.
No event will be listed that:
- Is unlikely to appeal to visitors to the region
- Adversely affects the Central Highlands’ (including CHDC and the Central Highlands Regional Council) public image or reputation
- Conflicts with CHDC’s values, policies or statutory responsibilities
- Is offensive, abusive, racist or politically divisive
- Is a sales promotion or special offer
Events are reviewed in accordance with these guidelines and CHDC reserves the right to edit or decline any event.
